Macross sketch

busy with work

finally able to sneak in a sketch on my old tab.

the drawing looks good in this shot, that I've decided not to post the original image  haha

social media these past couple of days has been so political that the Marcos issue in our country made me sketch a Macross jet in gerwalk mode.

now back to work  :/

weapon of choice: Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

bought last April 28, 2013

ditched my pen and sketchpad for this.
And it has become my primary and (for now) the only thing i use for sketching and painting.

- selling point here is the stylus(Wacom Digitizer), there's palm rejection and surprisingly it has pen sensitivity, not Cintiq level but for the price its decent enough.

Apps I've been using so far:
- S-Note
- Sketchbook
- Photoshop Touch
- Artflow

drink and draw sessions

 also my daily planner

it has become really useful that it also serves as my primary internet browser, chat device, daily planner, interactive presentation board, portable gaming console and media player.

will be posting mostly tablet artworks from now on..

Guillermo...

spent time with him the whole afternoon until it started to get dark.

Showed him the pages of my current sketchpad, and of course did a quick sketch in front of him.

Neil Armstrong tribute sketch

 Rest in peace Neil  (August 5, 1930 – August 25, 2012)

"".....one giant leap for mankind"

moon base crawler concept "neil"

Armstrong's family statement :

"For those who may ask what they can do to honor Neil, we have a simple request. Honor his example of service, accomplishment and modesty, and the next time you walk outside on a clear night and see the moon smiling down at you, think of Neil Armstrong and give him a wink."

curious about curiosity

NASA's Curiosity landed on Mars last august 5.  The most interesting part of its journey so far would be the skycrane.  (see the video below)
